In August 2017, Nagase embarked on her professional journey by joining the idol group Le Siana, based in Nara, Japan. Le Siana, formed in October 2012, is renowned as Nara’s first local idol group, named after the Great Buddha of Todai-ji Temple, known as “Rushana Butsu” in Japanese. She graduated from Le Siana on July 22, 2023, after nearly six years of contributing to the group’s success.

Founding Member of Iroha Sakura

Demonstrating her commitment as an evolving artist, Nagase co-founded the idol group Iroha Sakura. “Iroha” means “the beginning” or “starting,” derived from the old Japanese poem “Iroha uta,” while “Sakura” symbolizes the cherry blossom, a timeless emblem of Japan. Together, “Iroha Sakura” represent the concept of a new beginning adorned with beauty and tradition. The group quickly gained attention performing at notable events such as the Nippon Haiku Bangkok 2022, where they unveiled their album “Zenryoku Revolution“. Nagase also ventured into acting, appearing in the 2021 short film “8 Feet Woman.” In this project, she portrayed Kasumi, a character that allowed her to explore new dimensions of performance beyond the music stage. This transition demonstrated her versatility and ability to embrace new artistic challenges.

Nagase has other interests besides her professional endeavors. A reader by nature, she enjoys literature of all kinds. She also plays badminton, which keeps her physically active and also sharpens her focus and agility. An endearing pastime of hers is searching for four-leaf clovers, symbolizing her optimistic outlook and appreciation for nature’s small wonders.

Nagase has had to overcome obstacles in her journey. She left Iroha Sakura because of rule violations on May 14, 2024, a challenging moment that tested her resilience and commitment to personal growth.
